Guangzhou Royal Lee Cancer Center was officially established on November 25, 2010. It is a 3A “international-platform-based” oncology hospital under the management of the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, featuring “whole-process management on tumor” and “high-tech treatment technology of tumor” as its mainstay. It is solely funded and constructed by the multinational group – Royal Lee (Thailand) International Group, which aims to bring better tumor diagnosis and treatment and medical services to cancer patients around the world. The hospital, led by the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center with the largest scale and strongest academic strength in China, is one of the three core projects of the “Sun Yat-sen University International Health and Medical Research Center”, as well as one of the top 500 modern industry projects in Guangdong and one of the “three major breakthroughs” projects in Guangzhou.
Guangzhou Royal Lee Cancer Center features multi-disciplinary diagnosis and treatment, and has established Royal Lee – Bojiren Medical Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Oncology Department, Gastrointestinal Oncology Department, Palliative Medicine Center, Breast Oncology Department, Body Surface Tumor Department, Minimally Invasive Treatment Center and Health Management Center.
The hospital is also constantly exploring special services such as remote consultations with overseas hospitals, international two-way referrals, exchanges with overseas medical teams and multilingual senior medical team management. The hospital is located in the core area of China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, Huangpu District of Guangzhou City in China, with a total construction area of 77,600 square meters. There are 14 floors above the ground, of which the 1/F to 3/F are the medical technical departments, the 5/F to 14/F are the inpatient wards, two floors under the ground are used as medical rooms, restaurants and parking lots. The hospital has 12 clinical departments and 7 technical departments, 400 beds in the wards, 2 100-level laminar flow operation rooms, 4 10000-level laminar flow operating rooms and 1 compound operating room, so as to meet meet the needs of patients from all over the world. The hospital is equipped with the world’s most advanced MRI, CT and DSA, and will introduce large-scale equipment such as Da Vinci surgical robots in the second phase.
